What is budhi(Mercury) and it's relationship with other planets ??
Mercury is a beautiful creation born out of a illicit relationship of Manas (Moon) and Tara( beautiful daughters of Creator Brahma which we know today as fixed stars or nakshatra)(but actually described as wife of Guru Jupiter..The knowledge). So in lineage budhi/mercury has qualities of manas..The inner light of the soul or the mirror image..The knowledge of divine constitution coming from the lineage of brahma and being the wife of guru..
So it is given the duty of crown prince..To carry forward the lineage of aatman..The soul..With its wisdom, intelligence, analytical strength and power of discrimination along with its learning capabilities..
And most importantly it is advised to live in the company of righteous guru Jupiter where it can progress in right dharmik environment.
And it is placed in the nearest graha to sun..The aatman..So that it never gets the environment of watery emotional world of moon..And helps the native to achieve the purpose of life.
It gives a clear picture of Mercury's working.
If Jupiter is placed in 7th from budhi..It is most ideal placement.
If you want to see Sukha from mercury..It is 4th bhava..And if Jupiter is there, native will be getting sukha from knowledge..Very good placement.
If jupiter is placed in 6th bhava from mercury, native is bound to get competition in the field of knowledge.
If moon is placed in 12th bhava from mercury, then native will find peace in isolation but with knowledge.
If Venus is placed in conjunction with mercury then budhi can undertake materialistic way.
Mars is given as karak for the efforts of mercury when it is not mature. It gives a direction to the future karmas.
Saturn is it's final journey. As what is being processed in budhi having lineage of moon and Jupiter..Decides the karmic destination.
If Saturn is in 4th bhava from mercury then the native will get sukha from karmas done in the realm of budhi.and likewise..
But one thing is certain that mercury or budhi is crown prince..That means whatsoever you will be doing is for future incarnation..
